Ann Coulter Talks Smack at CPAC

Michelle Malkin gives a great response to Ann and to the exploitive “left” of the blogosphere. At the end she sums up eloquently the big picture concern.

About Ann’s comments …

… they distract from the far more important global battle being waged by enemies who will exploit comments like Ann’s to call for greater “tolerance”–and move us toward dhimmitude. Let’s keep our eyes on the ball.

I think Anne is very smart and eloquent. A little trivia, she spoke at CPAC right after my boss and friend, Alan Chambers. I also have another friend who has some funny behind the scenes stories of Ann on a speaking engagement in the midwest many moons ago.

Even so, I am very disappointed that Ann went there with her comments because they are racist and detract from the intellect I know she possesses. As purposefully inflammatory as she is, talking like this is something I would have never expected from her.
